Top Rail Fence is a home-based fencing franchise offering residential and commercial fencing, gates, and related services under the TOP RAIL® brand. Franchisees operate within a defined territory using Top Rail’s proprietary systems, training, and operational support, backed by HomeFront Brands.

Top Rail combines a scalable fencing business model with centralized support from HomeFront Brands. Franchisees benefit from national vendor relationships, standardized systems, and structured training designed to help owners operate efficiently in a fragmented fencing market.

Franchisees are required to actively participate in the operation of their business, particularly during the early stages. Over time, many owners hire managers and use subcontractors for installations, allowing for increased delegation as the business matures, consistent with the requirements outlined in the Franchise Agreement.

Each franchise is granted a defined territory that is established during the FDD review process. Territories are typically based on population and geographic factors and are protected as outlined in the Franchise Agreement. Specific boundaries and conditions are detailed in Item 12 of the FDD.

Top Rail provides comprehensive pre-opening and ongoing support. Franchisees complete an initial training program covering operations, sales, marketing, and systems, followed by continued education, field support, and access to centralized technology and business tools throughout the franchise term.

Demand for fencing services may vary by season and climate. However, Top Rail franchisees offer a range of residential and commercial fencing services that can generate revenue throughout the year. Actual results depend on market conditions, operational execution, and individual effort.
