John and his crew did an amazing job with our fence after it blew over from a wind storm. He clearly explained the options and then came out within a week, getting the job done in two days. Highly recommend!

John was great to work with and stood behind his proposal. Provided the best price and didn't try to nickel & dime. Crew was respectful and did good work. I'd use John & Top Rail on the next fence project without question!

John and Top Rail Fence were excellent. We had several jobs we needed - a property line fence, a yard fence with gate, and a stair railing. John's estimate was considerably below competitors. He kept us updated on supply orders and delivery, and started and completed the jobs on time just as he had promised. Both his workers and John himself came by in the following days to check on our satisfaction with the job and to finish some fine details of the work. I can't recommend him highly enough.

We had a great experience working with Top Rail Fence and Mr. John Schussler. Mr.Schussler was very professional and prompt and, most importantly, his team worked efficiently and quickly to get our fence replaced after it was damaged by a falling tree. I'll certainly hire Top Rail Fence again for my next project.

I hired John for a small fence project. I then had him do the stairs to my deck and some fence staining as well! His team did a fantastic job, with great expertise, and knowledge. I will use them for future projects, as well as recommendations to anyone I know. Thank you so much John & crew!

John and his install team, led by Miguel know A LOT about fences and were critical in helping me and my neighbors build a fence all 3 of us would like. They were able to work fast so that the landscaping job could proceed as planned.

I was told the work would take 2 days and it was finished in 2 days. The fence looks really nice. The workers were all very friendly and responsive to my questions and comments. I found this to be a good company for my fencing needs.

Top Rail Fence came out today and built a fence with a Arbor and 2 Gates they did a Beautiful job !!! The Arbor looks Perfect and I am so impressed with their quality of work ! I am hoping to have them back again to build Arbors over my 2 Garages. I Highly recommend them !

I got three bids for fence replacement. John was the most thorough in explaining my options in detail and was very helpful and communicative throughout the process. Miguel did excellent work, and was very friendly and helpful as well.

John and his team did an excellent job installing our new iron driveway gate. They were organized and detail oriented. The gate project was simple for me and very reasonably priced compared to others in the area. I would absolutely use him again and recommend him to others in Seattle.

John and his staff made my fence project a pleasure. The fence is beautiful. More importantly, they listen and have excellent customer service. I almost hesitate to recommend them just so they don't get too big. But I do, wholeheartedly!

John and his crew were fantastic to work with! They brought my long time dream of a white picket fence to reality (now it’s up to me to plant all of the flowers to get the cottage vibe I’m dreaming of). Communication was excellent and I was always impressed how they went above and beyond! I asked for help with something else in the yard, and they were able to help with that as well, which was much appreciated. We had a couple of problems initially with the wood warping on the gate, but they came back out quickly and without hesitation and built a new one. They ended up custom cutting the pickets for the gate to ensure it would be durable and long-lasting. John has continued to follow up to make sure all is functioning properly with the gate and that we are happy with the fence. He has been one of the most honest and trustworthy contractors I’ve ever worked with (and I have worked with a lot!) They go above and beyond and I would highly recommend them if you’re considering installing a fence. I will certainly be calling them back when we are ready to do our back yard. John and his crew were super easy to work with and did a great job. We and the neighbors on both sides of our property decided to replace some old fencing, some of it literally falling down after the big windstorm last winter. We got quotes from two or three companies and Top Rail was the best option—not just because of price but also warranty, ratings, etc. John answered a few questions during and after the selection process and made everything easy. We scheduled the work and they came out to the property in early August, demolished and replaced about 175 feet of fencing in 2 days, including two gates. It was clear the team knew what they were doing and asked me questions only when they needed some key bit of input. Otherwise they went about their work in a professional manner and left the job site clean. So glad we finally got this done and the yard looks so much better. Highly recommended.

Top Rail did a beautiful job with our new fence. The materials they source are notably superior to what we could have obtained on our own, and they know their craft. Their prices are competitive even though the materials are higher quality.
