The people at Top Rail Fence go out their way to make sure the job gets done to your specifications at a reasonable price.

Temporary fixes on a rain garden were unsightly and needed constant care, so we decided to have a fence installed. Our realtor referred Top Rail. John came out and sent a proposal that our HOA initially rejected. He then worked with us to design one that we were able to get approval on and move forward. Crystal, the office administrator, was instrumental in helping us dot the i’s and cross the t’s, keeping us informed from the initial contact all the way through to it’s completion, answering our (many) questions, and always in a professional and friendly manner. We were informed of an expected arrival time for installation. John and his two man crew arrived on time and the crew did an excellent job. We were particularly impressed with their precision to detail. The end result is a much more aesthetically pleasing permanent structure that allows clear views of the garden and, after four days, has only drawn mild, but distant interest from deer and some "disappointed" rabbits. A great experience through and through and we would highly recommend them.

Top Rail Fence was a real find. The price for our backyard gate was reasonable and the work was superb. We are delighted with how it turned out. John and his crew were here when he said they would be. We recommend Top Rail Fence highly.

Top Rail Fence totally went above and beyond on our recent project. Our house is down by the Huron River and our property is riddled with large rocks and boulders. Many posts immediately hit a rock - stopping it cold. With persistence, ingenuity, flexibility and brute force they made it happen. Working with John Teichow and his Top Rail team was seamless from start to finish. We have a beautiful new straight as an arrow fence. Well done. I highly recommend them!

We had a section of Picket fence and 100 Feet of split rail fence installed. They used top grade materials and top grade workmanship, and left the area neat. It all looks good, just what we wanted. Would use them again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

Top Rail Fence Ann Arbor installed 40 ft of new privacy fence at my home yesterday morning. The whole experience - from submitting an online request for estimate to job completion - was very positive. John T. phoned me within a few hours we scheduled a phone consultation discuss details, needs, etc.; I received a proposal for the work within 30 minutes of that conversation. Installation date was scheduled, materials delivered 24 hrs prior to work date. John T arrived with his crew on time and work commenced immediately. Job was complete in less than 3 hours. I am very impressed with John's reliability, honesty, efficiency and attention to detail; and the crew's workmanship was top-notch.
