My husband and I have been wanting a fence for quite sometime but we just could not seem to find the right company for us and a company that was reasonable in cost. Then we got this most precious dog LuLu. We knew that it was time to get serious about a fence. I looked up fencing companies and Top Rail Fence came up with very good reviews. I made the call set up an appointment with Stephen. He walked us through the process, we told him what we wanted and why we were desperate to get a fence. We chose Top Rail Fence because Stephen listened and they were very reasonable in cost. He assured us that they would do the best job and we would not have to worry about LuLu wondering off. We own the back lot of a cul-de-sac so our fence is very long, over 200’. Steven was very gracious and let us do it in chunks so it was easier to stomach the total cost. They just got done with the first section and it looks great. I cannot wait to have the whole fence complete. Very professional. Would highly recommend.

We recently installed a cedar privacy fence at our rental property and working with Stephen and his crew was a great experience. He was careful to communicate all aspects and details of the project to his crew at the pre-work walkthrough, which I appreciated. Not only do we now have a functional fence, but we have a beautiful one! Stephen was responsive to the handful of things I wanted to have fixed and even did some of the work himself. We had a wonderful experience working with Stephen at Top Rail Fence. We came to him with a somewhat unique vision for our fence, and while other contractors seemed hesitant or uninterested, Stephen was enthusiastic and ready to take it on. He did his homework, got on a few planning calls with us, and really listened to what we were hoping to achieve. Even though the initial build started while Stephen was out of town, he didn’t hesitate to pause the work once it was clear the crew wasn’t familiar with this type of design. He made sure the project stayed true to the vision—personally overseeing and even building much of it himself. The work was completed quickly, the materials are clearly high quality, and the craftsmanship speaks for itself. Stephen was also a pleasure to work with throughout—professional, responsive, and totally unfazed by our (admittedly frequent) feedback and requests. We’re thrilled with how it turned out and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Top Rail Fence to anyone looking for thoughtful, top-notch fence work.
