Natural Japanese Cedar Fence Install

For this Richardson home, the goal was to create a beautiful new privacy fence that offered both durability and a natural look. We removed and hauled away the existing fence and replaced it with a 6-foot board-on-board fence made from Japanese cedar, left natural to highlight the wood’s character.

The new fence features galvanized steel posts, cedar rails and trim, and pressure-treated kickboards for added durability. The project also included three 4-foot cedar walk gates, with a single fence row along the front and a double row along the back for added privacy. The finished installation gives the property a clean, warm appearance while providing the privacy and long-lasting performance the homeowners were looking for.
