I highly recommend Top Rail Fence Richmond company! They came out on very short notice and took my privacy fence down quickly and efficiently so my shed could be delivered. Once the shed arrived, they came back the same day and put the fence back up nice, sturdy, and secure. Everything was done quickly, professionally, and at a very reasonable price. Great customer service and dependable work—I would definitely use them again! Thank you Bob, you made my shed delivery stress free!

I recently needed to hire a fence company to install a vinyl panel in my yard. It was a small job and some companies didn’t even want to talk to me. I filled out an online form for Top Rail. The owner, Bob, reached out to me in under an hour, even though he was out of town. Within days, he had someone here to look at the property. He gave me an excellent price. Every step of the way, they were responsive to my questions. They went above and beyond to address my needs. The panel was installed quickly as soon as I was ready. They did an excellent job and I would definitely hire them again. They did great work and had the best customer service!

They recently completed the installation of my new fence, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the final results. From Day 1, beginning with my first interaction with Jack, I was presented with all the options and design concepts that would achieve the look and curb appeal I wanted—while staying within my budget. Jack’s professionalism and diligence in helping me choose the right direction for the project ultimately sealed the deal and gave me full confidence in hiring this company for my fencing installation. The team was also incredibly flexible with my schedule, as I had other landscaping and paving projects happening at the same time. Tanner was especially helpful—there were several times I had to move the installation dates due to delays from the landscaping company, and he was always quick and efficient in finding new dates that worked for everyone involved. Nahin and his team completed the installation in just one day! With everything else happening on the property, I honestly didn’t think it would be possible for them to finish the back portion of the fence in that timeframe. I assumed they’d only get halfway through and return another day, but I was completely wrong. They worked seamlessly around the other contractors and finished earlier than I expected. The fence was installed with care, precision, and exactly to the vision I had in mind. Lastly, Bob—the owner—was quick to follow up on every question and concern I had throughout the process. He made sure the entire team stayed aligned on updates, prioritized safety, and remained focused on delivering outstanding results. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience from start to finish. Honestly, five stars doesn’t do this company justice—they deserve a full ten. I already have two more projects lined up with them for next year. If you want a team that delivers excellent results, true customer satisfaction, precision, and unwavering dedication, I highly recommend this company.

Bob and team provided a quote and installation for ~200 LF of horizontal shadow box fence. I actually reached out to a couple contractors for quotes in the beginning, and I can say top rail fence provided the best experience with setting up a time for an onsite quote. We proceeded with the installation process and the team who completed the work did a great job. We really enjoy the privacy the new fence provides and the style added more charm to our property than a traditional vertical plank fence.

These folks are very honest and hard-working! One of the reasons my wife and I chose Top Rail is because the fence lumber they use is better quality wood. Not the cheap brand sold at the big box stores. The fence wood used by Top Rail is thicker and sturdier. Will last longer! Just what we want. Go with these people!
