Working with Top Rail Fence was genuinely one of the best contractor experiences I’ve had. I had three companies bid our project. Top Rail wasn’t the least expensive, but after seeing hundreds of positive reviews, I decided to go with them—and I’m very glad I did. My neighbors trusted me to select the contractor and act as the middleman for the project, so I felt some pressure to make sure we chose the right company and that the job was done correctly. From the beginning, Nancy was fantastic to work with. Pricing was refreshingly straightforward: a simple price per linear foot of fence and a fixed price per gate. Our project also wasn’t completely standard. One neighbor needed posts replaced in an existing concrete slab, while another only needed posts replaced rather than the entire fence. Nancy worked through all of it with us and made the process easy. Once the project began, Ashley became my primary point of contact. She walked the entire job with me beforehand and really listened to what I wanted as well as the things I was concerned about. Both Ashley and Nancy remained extremely responsive throughout the project. Then there were Justin and Jeremy, who with the rest of their crew, actually built the fence. I’ll freely admit that I probably bugged them more than the average homeowner. I had questions, ideas and concerns as the work progressed, and neither of them ever made me feel like I was getting in their way. They would stop, listen, explain what they were doing, and we would make decisions together. More importantly, these guys are craftsmen. Jeremy did a great job dealing with the concrete work and some difficult post locations. Justin absolutely rocked the gates and took the time to cut and sculpt individual pickets where necessary so everything fit beautifully. Those little details are what separate someone who simply installs fences from someone who takes pride in the finished product. The end result looks fantastic. The fence lines are clean and straight, the gates feel solid, and the workmanship is obvious when you look closely at the details. Both my neighbors and I were thrilled with the result. Top Rail wasn’t our cheapest bid, but having now seen the finished product and experienced how everyone handled the project, I would make the same decision again without hesitation. Great company to deal with from the moment I inquired until the insulation of my fence. Everything was completed the same day, and the communication was exceptional..

Hired them to do a 10k fence job, everything went great took 2 1/2 days. Price was very reasonable and communication was on point, fence turned out great! After some minor fixes on neighbor side they came back to fix in less than a week, shows that they stand by their work! Will use them again, highly recommended!

They did an amazing job. Omar explained everything, got the people set up to flag lines, Adrian's crew were so nice and helpful in getting everything done. They help my neighbor get the dog house out of my back yard. They moved my water lines. I just love my new fence. I highly recommend them.

I had 3 estimates done and all three were competitive. I selected another company, honestly said, with my heart and after telling Top Rail no, my choice started changing the payment methods and it became uncomfortable so I fired them. I immediately called Top Rail and they said yes in a flash. They were extremely kind in setting up an install date and updated along the way. Started on time, finished on time, and they left the area clean and show ready. They are a true FIVE STAR company and I could not be happier.
